In relation to the Dwight/Angela baby DNA thing: Angela Kinsey tweeted something along the lines of "could've been more than one diaper" so basically I think he got DNA from the wrong baby. :)

On the last episode when Dwight proposed to Angels, she told him that her baby was his child. But in an earlier season, they had a DNA test done on the baby and determined it was NOT his. So how does the show get away with this?

I asked myself the same question, and I’m not 100% sure either.

In the episode “The New Guys” (9x1) the doctor told Angela and Dwight that Dwight was not the father. But in the most recent episode, Angela admits that she lied to Dwight about him not being the father.

I think we are suppose to assume that maybe Angela convinced the doctor to lie to Dwight? Maybe the DNA test was a false negative?

You could also take into consideration that the sample Dwight brought to be tested was taken from a diaper in the trash found in the office on the same day Jim and Pam brought their two children in for the free family portraits offered by Dwight in the final episode of season 8. Maybe Dwight got a bad sample?

I think more than anything the writers just wanted to close out the series with Angela and Dwight living happily ever after.
